Violet at 6 weeks
Violet is growing by leaps and bounds,
putting on over 3lbs in the 6 weeks since she was born, and is in the top 5% for height. She continues to be a good sleeper, the occasional sore tummy night not-with-standing.

She can spend 10-15 minutes staring at our faces and making the occasional coo, before she remembers that she is hungry (always! You don't grow that much without eating nonstop!) and starts looking around for THE BREAST.
This past week she has been smiling at us, which is so touching and such a payback for the middle of the night feedings and endless poopy diapers, and we found out that if we kick her little legs quickly she "laughs". Unfortunately, she won't do it for the camera, but we'll keep trying.
