(update: OK, this time the photos will actually show up...)
We have been so lucky this year to have a fall filled with great weather, and lots of visits with family and friends. Isobel is so good with other kids, and makes friends everywhere we go, and Violet has become an even better sleeper, so it is easy to take short trips. Last weekend we went up north for Roney-Baloney's 1st birthday party (Ronin is the son of Iain's 'girlfriend' Daniel and his lovely wife Sandy), and had a wonderful afternoon at the Conservation area where the party was held. And this weekend we spent in K-W and Bayfield (on lake Huron), first with the Allens on Saturday, then to Mummum & Tammy's trailer for Thanksgiving, and then back to Kitchener for Oktoberfest Family Day with lots of friends from the old gang. It was hot and muggy, unseasonably warm, so we ate our Thanksgiving dinner outside in our summer clothes, surrounded by the lovely fall foliage. Here are some of the best photos:

You will notice that I labeled the girls before taking them to Oktoberfest- just in case anyone had trouble telling them apart! My friend Rebecca made them these shirts, and I have been trying to get a photo of them for a while,

but someone always blurps all over hers (not mentioning any names...)
Ronin's party Violet has started playing with her toys!!

Well, at least one of them is happy! Isobel with Tammy and Mummum
