Isobel's 3 year program at the Joy of Learning Montessori has sadly ended, and she had her end of year recital and commencement ceremony on Friday. Here are some of the highlights, including samples of songs from the places her class "visited" this year (Quebec, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Germany), a snippet of the skit they performed (Isobel playing the title character of the 'Little Red Hen'). And of course the presentation of the diploma and mortarboard, and walking of the ellipse (her school's graduation ritual) I of course cried the whole time, I'm so proud of all Isobel has accomplished and how much she has absorbed in her time there, and sad that we are leaving that wonderful school and the fantastic teachers. But only 2 years until Violet can attend!
